Silhouettes (the Conclusion)

Basis- Using Light flares of strands
Note that light strands appear in very dark situations with the aid of slow shutter speed.

STEP 1
In a studio setting with two strobe lights from opposite sides pointed towards the background. Place four people at the background.

Step 2
Place a person right in front of them but out of the light zone making sure the person is in their middle but some meters out of their line

STEP 3
Make sure your shutter speed is set at “ultra slow”. Probably from 1/13 downwards would help you achieve it. (note that your objects (the people must try to remain static to avoid blurs)

Step 4
Hit on the shutter and pass the flares in desired patterns over the person in the fore; that is before the light.

STEP 5
Check the image created if it creates what is being expected.

Therefore on the real light mode especially the sunset light style, look out for striking patterns in the sky or on the golden sun. Try to understand the formation of the sky as at that time. Proper placements of your object on the light, also brings out more beauty.

Picture this, a couple by the beach side and the golden sun falls big within the sea. You take the couple looking with heads knocking into their eyes, trying different angles but making sure silhouettes are created.

Finally, artistic impressions are based on the photographer’s ability to stand out an image.
Does your silhouette make you take a second thought?

Creativity
Finally on silhouettes creativity in the ambiance, deals with the various themes you want to work on personally as a photographer. As a photographer your intellect should be able to drive towards various genres that can be derived off silhouettes.
Note two ways to be creative is either you gaze at the lights and discover something you can take advantage of or you carefully plan what you want to create irrespective of patterns on the light.

Finally, this draws the end of our teachings on silhouettes. Have you practiced your basics? Have a great day ahead.
